Kasalang Filipino 2010 – Cagayan de Oro Leg – The premier Philippine wedding and tourism fair roadshow is presented by Professional Organizers and co-presented by kasal.com and ABS-CBN was held last September 3-5, 2010 at the Lim Ket Kai Mall, Cagayan de Oro City.

We were able to meet old and new friends. We would like to express our gratitude to our friends and previous clients who were so supportive. We would also like to thank our family for the love and encouragement. And to Him above for always guiding and blessing us.

Ceniza + Tamayo – Surigao Wedding Photographer

Monday, August 30th, 2010

Surigao is a long way from Cagayan de Oro but road trips are our favorite. Kim and Vanessa’s wedding was not the usual wedding for they had a lot of fun and surprises in store for their guests. Guests were overflowing from different parts of the Philippines and the world. Some of their relatives even came as far as Germany, Dubai and USA just to witness their union. Vanessa was a beautiful bride that day. Her simplicity combined with her beauty made her standout while Kim on the other hand was the dashing groom who is in comparison to his lovely bride.

All their hard work paid off. They told us they would only have a simple wedding but theirs was grand! They transformed Surigao’s Convention Center into a spectacular and awesome reception. At the entrance was a  beautiful landscape with a flowing fountain that’s soothing to hear and look at and when you go inside the Convention Center, you’ll see different kinds of flowers and draperies that add beauty to the whole place. The stage was also decorated in a simple yet elegant setup that suited the bride and groom’s personalities. Both Kim and Vanessa were hands-on with the preparations. They wanted to make sure that everything’s perfect for their special day. Again, all their hard work really paid off.

I now share to you their wedding album. The resort they chose was breathtaking. I had a very hard time choosing which pictures to include because I wanted to include almost all of the images but I had to choose a few and it was a very, very hard task. Enjoy! “_)

Kim + Vanessa – Siargao Engagement Session – Club Tara

Sunday, June 27th, 2010
Kim and Vanessa are a shy and private couple and opted not to have any “kissing scene”. Close to kissing but not really kiss in front of the camera will do :) First day of our shoot was a struggle. It rained the whole afternoon and we couldn’t just sit down and wait for the rain to stop. We arrived at the resort late in the morning and still had to eat our brunch and prepare before the shoot began. I scanned the whole place to look for a place that we can use as a background. Luckily, there were some corners and we got lucky. We even got luckier on our second day coz the sun rose perfectly and graced us with its overflowing power. The sky was even at our side giving us beautiful cloud formations and I got so addicted to shooting that my 8-gig memory card got drained in just a short span of time! Here are some of my best shots during our trip to a beautiful resort in Siargao. The place is breathtaking and I’m so glad Kim and Vanessa decided to have this place for their engagement session.

Bonotan + Taguba – Surigao Wedding Photography

Saturday, April 17th, 2010

We arrived at Surigao at around 11 o’clock in the evening (really late since it was raining hard so we had to be super careful along the slippery road) while our call time is at 2 o’clock in the morning. We went around looking for food since we’re all starving. At around midnight we found noodles “_) Then slept at around 1 o’clock in the morning. Weddings are usually following the “pinoy time” meaning almost always a 2am call time will start at 3am. When we arrived at around 3am, we were totally shocked at how ready everyone was! The bride and her entourage were already made up including the family and sponsors! I thought I was early but I was proven wrong. Not everybody has the so-called “pinoy time”.
