Kim + Vanessa – Surigao City Wedding
Tuesday, October 12th, 2010Calamba + Sardane – Iligan City Wedding
Tuesday, October 12th, 2010It was all so surreal. It was as if I was taking images of a romantic movie. Aris and Gen’s wedding was overflowing with love. It was the first time that I felt something so true and spontaneous. Everybody was in tears. Both of their parents were touched of Aris and Gen’s revelations, including the Bestman’s too! When Aris spoke it was as if I was also feeling his love and it captured everyone’s attention. When the Pastor announced that Aris can kiss the bride, it was as if he won a multi-million dollar pot money! To Aris and Gen, may you continue to inspire everyone of the love you both share. Best wishes, good luck and God bless! “_)

Lakshmi Photography & Design was one of the exhibitors during the 3-day fair. It was Lakshmi Photography’s first public appearance and we are so glad of the outcome. We were able to meet old and new friends. We would like to express our gratitude to our friends and previous clients who were so supportive. We would also like to thank our family for the love and encouragement. And to Him above for always guiding and blessing us.

Monday, August 30th, 2010Surigao is a long way from Cagayan de Oro but road trips are our favorite. Kim and Vanessa’s wedding was not the usual wedding for they had a lot of fun and surprises in store for their guests. Guests were overflowing from different parts of the Philippines and the world. Some of their relatives even came as far as Germany, Dubai and USA just to witness their union. Vanessa was a beautiful bride that day. Her simplicity combined with her beauty made her standout while Kim on the other hand was the dashing groom who is in comparison to his lovely bride.
All their hard work paid off. They told us they would only have a simple wedding but theirs was grand! They transformed Surigao’s Convention Center into a spectacular and awesome reception. At the entrance was a beautiful landscape with a flowing fountain that’s soothing to hear and look at and when you go inside the Convention Center, you’ll see different kinds of flowers and draperies that add beauty to the whole place. The stage was also decorated in a simple yet elegant setup that suited the bride and groom’s personalities. Both Kim and Vanessa were hands-on with the preparations. They wanted to make sure that everything’s perfect for their special day. Again, all their hard work really paid off.
I now share to you their wedding album. The resort they chose was breathtaking. I had a very hard time choosing which pictures to include because I wanted to include almost all of the images but I had to choose a few and it was a very, very hard task. Enjoy! “_)

Bonotan + Taguba – Surigao Wedding Photography
Saturday, April 17th, 2010We arrived at Surigao at around 11 o’clock in the evening (really late since it was raining hard so we had to be super careful along the slippery road) while our call time is at 2 o’clock in the morning. We went around looking for food since we’re all starving. At around midnight we found noodles “_) Then slept at around 1 o’clock in the morning. Weddings are usually following the “pinoy time” meaning almost always a 2am call time will start at 3am. When we arrived at around 3am, we were totally shocked at how ready everyone was! The bride and her entourage were already made up including the family and sponsors! I thought I was early but I was proven wrong. Not everybody has the so-called “pinoy time”.
